FAQ
Before you send files
The answers below are the rules for a normal job. A service page may add a narrower rule.
How fast is a normal job?
Stills that arrive on a business day before 2:00 p.m. Pacific are back the next morning. Files that arrive later return the morning after that. A 12-hour rush is available for stills if the files and the brief are in by 6:00 p.m. Pacific. Films, tours, and renderings are scheduled, not rushed overnight.
What should I send?
JPEGs, TIFFs, or RAW files. A long edge of at least 3,000 pixels is enough for listing stills. Name files by room, not by the camera’s counter. For floor plans, send a sketch, a PDF, or a list of measurements. A shared link is better than a stack of attachments.
Will you hide damage?
No. Cracks, water stains, sloping floors, missing railings, and other conditions of the property stay in the picture. We correct exposure, color, lens distortion, and temporary clutter. We do not correct the house.
Do staged photos need a caption?
Yes. Furniture we add is digital. We send a one-line caption with the files, and we expect it to travel with the listing. Occupied rooms can be restaged, and that is disclosed the same way.
What does a revision cover?
Stills include one revision round: a lamp moved, a sky softened, a vertical corrected. A new furniture style or a different time of day is a new brief, and we price it before starting. Renderings include two rounds on the approved camera view.
Who owns the finished files?
You get a license to use the finished files to market that property, in print and online, for as long as the marketing runs. We do not resell them and we do not put client work in this gallery. Source files you send stay yours.
How do you invoice?
The price is confirmed in writing before production. First jobs are paid before delivery. After three completed jobs, stills can move to terms. Renderings and films are half to schedule the work and half on delivery.
Do you work outside one city?
The files do. Property Visions Media takes work from anywhere the brief is clear. Phones are answered in the United Kingdom and South Africa. Stills still follow the Pacific cut-off: before 2:00 p.m. for next morning, and before 6:00 p.m. for a 12-hour rush.
